Make It Fun.

You've got to be kidding...
Seriously, who needs to make it any more difficult than it already is.  As we have heard all across Tennessee, this is a tough topic.  So why make it even more difficult?

We heard about families who have done it together... grandfather, mother and son. Generation to generation:  "I'll do mine if you'll do yours."  What a great idea!
Be as creative as possible...

We heard a story about a gentleman in Memphis who used crayons and crepe paper to make a cover for his advance directive/living will.

He crafted a really treasurable love note to his children, grandchildren and friends. That made them very happy and it displayed his great sense of humor at a time when they really needed a laugh and really wanted to remember how priviledged they had been to know him and love him.
